Contagious

You sometimes hear about this kind of people and you don’t really believe they exist, you think it must be some kind of urban myth or something..

And then you actually meet one of them!

Yes, it happened, I met a guy who looked into my eyes and told me without flinching that the Earth is flat. Exactly what you read. The Earth, as in “planet Earth”, is not round as all of us have learned. No! It’s FLAT FLAT FLAT, bordered by some green pastures where all the Milka ads are shot. Without the cows, because of course, cows don’t really exist, they are just a collective hallucination.

I had to look around and double check if I was still in the Avalon restaurant or someone had beamed me up into a psychiatric ward. No I wasn’t suddenly starring in “One Flew Over A Cuckoo’s Nest”. But I chose to behave like that. I said:

“That’s an interesting perspective”

And immediately after I uttered that line, I started to really consider the flat Earth idea and actually believe at least 3, 3% of it :))
