Hot dogs
I usually run in the morning and come across many people walking their dogs. Have you noticed that very often people own dogs which resemble them?
Same walk, same haircut, same way of wagging their tail.
It’s like some subtle unconscious mirroring effect made them choose the dog in the first place. I started to notice that very often. I would first look at the person than at the dog, see the strong resemblance and say to myself. Yep! Definitely a mirroring match.
But lately I’ve been playing a little game: I look at the dog first and then at the owner. And most of the time I go: Yep! Strong resemblance. It’s accurate!
And when I see some “hot” dogs, it’s like a teaser for the mind: I mentally prepare to see a hot woman or man. In fact, truth be told, I secretly hope that my eyes will meet a gorgeous guy and I relish the anticipation.
So I start playing this visual dance where my eyes are constantly swiping from the dog to the owner. And most of the times I go: Yep! Niiice!
Except for the times when I go: What?!! No way! Totally inaccurate! C’mon! Get a frog! That dog is totally out of your leash..I mean league.
